I don’t know about you, but Gaelic names such as Aibaidh, Mac Ui, and Sogne are a real treat for the wee man. I mean who hasn’t had a wee man in their bed with a huge smile on their face… What really brings this to mind is that I came across this list of Gaelic names for boys on my travel book today.
“Let There Be Light” has a long history of creating “light based” songs that reflect on the meaning and purpose of life, and the hope and healing that exists within us all. This is the song that many of us will carry with us for many lifetimes, and it really is “more light”.
Many of these Gaelic names are associated with ancient Celtic deities, spirits, and creatures, all of which are still closely associated with the Celtic spirit world today. Old blog: “Let there be light”, as you might expect, does not mean “let there be no darkness”; it simply means “let there be a light that is always present, ready to shine.” A perfect song name, too, and perfect for me to keep handy so I can chant it.
