This is the kind of cookie that mom would make with a whole host of different nuts. The flavor of the nut is important. The flavor of the cream cheese is most important. The flavor of the caramel is the most important. It’s all connected.
The problem is that many of the nuts we find ourselves making at home aren’t really that good. The flavor of the nuts is important for these cookies, as well as the cream cheese and the caramel. Some of the nuts are just okay but other varieties taste like cardboard.
The good news is that there are plenty of edible nut varieties in the baking world.
So if you want a good nut cookie, you’ll need a good nut. You’ll also need a good cream cheese and caramel. If you have a good caramel, you’ll also need a good cream cheese. These are probably the most important components of any good nut cookie.
We’ve seen some other nuts-based cookies before in the past, but none as good as the ones coming out of the mother of all nut mills, Hershey’s. They are a little nuttier than the candy-haze that is most of the other cookies that come out of Hershey’s, but still, these cookies are worth the price of admission.
I had a bad experience at Hersheys when I went in 2011. In the first of it’s kind, I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that tasted like peanut butter and jelly that ended with a mess on my plate. I was so worried I might have cancer that I took the sandwich home and ate it. My wife and I were both in the middle of our lunch when we heard the loud beep-beep-beep of an alarm.
The worst part of all is that the mess was made by the cookies. Hershey has the world’s largest production of cookies and the cookies are still that good. I’ll never go back to Hershey again.
I guess cookies, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, are a little bit of a novelty these days. One thing that hasn’t changed, though, is that cookies are the most powerful aphrodisiac of the bunch. They make you want to eat the heck out of everything in sight, and I know it’s a cliché, but when I was a kid my mother would always give me cookies for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
My mother’s cookies were a little unconventional. They were cookies that came in a tube with chocolate chips inside, and you had to break the chocolate up and lick it off your fingers before you could eat it. I think my favorite was a plain chocolate chip cookie with raisins and peanuts.
I can’t think of anything else like this, which is kind of weird, but I recently went looking for a recipe for cookie dough that was in a tube with chocolate. Turns out that was all I had to go on, but I did find that another cookie blog had a recipe for those too.
